Sick and Tired of Being Sick and Tired

My great-grandfather used to say "if God made anything better than a woman He (yes grand dad was patriarchal) must of kept it for himself." As we near the end of Women's History month I encourage the celebration, respect, protection, support, equality and equitable outcomes for women. Continue to learn about our magnificence. Our commitment to agency and autonomy. We define ourselves. Equal pay, agency over our bodies, safety in our bodies, awareness of the impact of our intersectionalities and actions that support our cultural lived experiences is non negotiable. Our refusal to go backwards and our declaration of respect under no uncertain terms is a cautionary tale for those in refusal about women's rights and equality. We will not be dragged. This Black woman is sick and tired of being sick and tired and is putting her self and her well being first. We value our mental health over your agenda and we mourn those we have lost to the dismissal and marginalization of women. Particularly women of color. Ask women. Hire women. Support women. Advocate for women. Amazing Women are changing the world. Women, let's lift up each other, invest in each other, and work in solidarity to eradicate sexism, racism, ageism, and inequality in pay and access to power. I am woman. Hear me. See me. Value me. #WomensHistoryMonth #WomenInHistory #HerStory. #WomenEmpowerment #Feminism #WomenWhoLead #InspirationalWomen #WomenInLeadership #genderequality
